Once your property found, buying it following the French Law will be the second large task of your project. Unlike the search, purchasing a property in France is overall more straightforward. Indeed, the various steps of the buying process must follow a well-defined legal path. There is only one path to follow to acquire a property following the purchase process. And this buying process applies to French and foreigners. Although this path is unique, it may seem complicated to foreigners. The pitfalls and problems referred to in the first section of this guide must be particularly avoided. Otherwise, these obstacles will slow down the development of your project.

 

In this section of our guide, we are going to explain in greater details the legal process in France. As previously explained, this guide is also intended to buyers who have decided to complete their project without our assistance. For the people who have chosen to call our property finders skills to find their property: reading this section helps understand the actions we are going to take together on our journey through the buying process. The action plans relating to the different steps are all explained to you before the beginning of each step. A good prior understanding will be an additional asset when it comes down to the actual process. Indeed, everything that we do together will seem more logical and clearer to you. For each step related to the French property buying process, we will indicate your level of commitment in case of signature.
